We had a very similar problem many, many years ago.

We had  VSAM data space and Dynam-D work space on the

same volume.  Both use dynamic LUB allocation.  I can't tell

from JCL if usercat FMBT1UC controls any space on Z81976.

As soon as we separated the VSAM space  from the Dynam-D

work space the problems went away.

Just another item to check.
