Ok,

A 3990 is a Control Unit, not a device, so you won't have a PUB entry. However, the most probable devices attached would be 3390's, which have a generic PUB code of x'6E'. More detailed information related to volume size, like number of tracks/cyl, number of cyl's, etc., is kept in the PUB2 and PUBX (Extension) table entries.

Ok, no more nits to pick...

That is a different animal-

old way:

low-core+14 points to comreg +40 points to pub (2byte adress) PUB is 8
bytes per entry with CUU in first two bytes. What do you want out of it?

new way:

EXTRACT ID=PUB,AREA=PUB,..... I don't have the details handy - they
are in supervisor DRM
