i keep about half my PCS members in BIM-Edit coded like this:

// EXEC  PROC=JCLMAINT
../ DEL PCSMEM.MON
../ ADD PCSMEM
<PCS member goes here ... >

if i need to make a change, i check a member out, 
update it, submit it to get the changes into PCS, and
check it back in.

the only trick is that you have to code the POWER cards in the 'PCSMEM' 
as:

* DD 
not
* $$ 

the other half i have PCS submit directly from BIM-Edit. PCS can access 
most
(maybe all) editors for VSE.
