Hello Frank,

I use both. FTPCAT for a DMZ type catalog, and Define files
for some specific files.

I am curious how many users use the VSAMCAT type for FTP access to an
entire
catalog.
We use it extensively. But Don Stoever of CSI indicated that this is
not
the "preferred" way of using TCP/IP for VSE as an FTP server. Rather,
each
file should be defined individually using DEFINE FILE.

We have hundreds of files in our "FTPCAT" catalog. I can't imagine
having
to define each one explicitly to FTPD!

(Please correct me if I have mis-stated your point of view, Don!)
