Hi,
Hello,
Not a VSE specific issue, sorry, but we are defining TS3500 to z9 using Standalone IOCP, which fails
to compile:
* TS3500
CNTLUNIT CUNUMBR=0520,PATH=((CSS(0),02,03)), *
UNIT=3590,UNITADD=((00,16))
IODEVICE ADDRESS=(520,16),CUNUMBR=(0520),STADET=Y,UNIT=3590, *
LIBRARY=YES,DYNAMIC=YES,SHARABLE=YES,COMPACT=YES, *
LOCANY=YES,LIBRARY-ID=33047,LIBPORT-ID=01
*ICP ICP127I UNKNOWN KEYWORD - LIBRARY=
Our IOCP does not recognize options DYNAMIC and LIBRARY-ID, either, and probably none of tape
library specific options.
In our 3953 Tape System, only one library is defined, 33047. Do we need any of the tape library
specific options in IOCDS? They have their origin in a template which was generated using z/OS HCD.
Only VSE and VM systems will use tapes via 3953.
Thanks in advance,
