Hi,



Bellow is our definition for 3590 drives within a 3494 L12 running
under z/VM 4.4.0 



CHPID PATH = 40,TYPE=CNC

CHPID PATH = 50,TYPE=CNC

CHPID PATH = 60,TYPE=CNC

CHPID PATH = 70,TYPE=CNC

No other parameters.

Our IOCP does not recognize options DYNAMIC and LIBRARY-ID, either, and probably none of tape
library specific options.

In our 3953 Tape System, only one library is defined, 33047. Do we need any of the tape library
specific options in IOCDS? They have their origin in a template which was generated using z/OS HCD.
Only VSE and VM systems will use tapes via 3953.
