Louie, When you give the ASI parameters to IPL, use the STOP=DLF command and format the lock file. For example IPL=$IPL3Z,JCL=$$JCL3Z,STOP=DLF This will prompt you to issue the DLF command. 0 DLF UNIT=164,CYL=1,NCYL=4,NCPU=4,TYPE=F,DSF=N and then ignore the DLF command you have in the normal IPL. This would resolve any wrong entries kept in DLF. I'm having a problem trying to delete some vsam clusters on my newly created zVSE 4.1.1 system These files were created prior to installing the RSL and PSP buckets, I have not had any issues since appling the buckets, but I can't get rid of 4 clusters that were created prior to applying the buckets. Anyway, I know these files are not being used but the system thinks they are. Any suggestion on how to get rid of these file? Does anyone have an example of IKQVDU doing this DELETE (DOS.WORKFILE.SYSLNK.BG ) - CLUSTER - PURGE - CATALOG (VSESP.USER.CATALOG ) DC3028I DATA SET IN USE DC3009I ** VSAM CATALOG RETURN CODE IS 184 - REASON CODE IS IGG0CLCX- DC0551I **ENTRY DOS.WORKFILE.SYSLNK.BG NOT DELETEDIDC0001I FUNCTION COMPLETED, HIGHEST CONDITION CODE WAS 8 Regards....
