This is what I've used previously, which I initiate from my PC, by
launching vtape.bat which uses CSI's TCP/IP:
 
Contents of vtape.bat:
 
call ftp -i -s:ftpvtape.txt
 
Contents of ftpvtape.bat:
 
open lpar3.berriencounty.org 
RBOTSIS
RBOTSIS
quote site unix off
quote type i
quote site lrecl 32758
quote site recfm v
quote site crlf off
binary
type binary
put c:\KROGER.CSITCPIP.AWS techcat.vse.vtape1.file
