I guess I should have been more specific.  I'm thinking of the one that
tells you the maximum record with or without keys that can be placed on a
track.  This basically accounts for the inter-record-gaps for various
blocking factors.

Anyone know where these can be found today?  I know how to do this for VSAM
but I need to do this for regular sequential disk.  TIA.
