I understand the situation. But my point is if it is an emulator bug
there is nothing you can do from the VSE side to fix it. They will have
to update all the emulators or live with the accidental key press.

Now, if they wanted to web-enable that application we could do that from
the VSE side and eliminate the emulator problem completely. But, you
already knew that!

Chuck:

He doesn't have a different emulator, but I could probably
talk him into installing one. The REAL problem, if it is, indeed, the
emulator, is that he has HUNDREDS of users with that same emulator (and
the same key mapping) all over the country. There is no way that he can
get them all to re-map the keyboard!

The ATTN key was pressed by accident. Over the years, he has
noticed this abend problem from the users, but, typically, they could
never tell him what key they had pressed. Accidently, he stumbled upon
the key sequence himself. So, now that he can re-create the problem, he
wants me to fix it!

I have asked him to initiate a trace on the emulator, in the
hope that we will see what is happening (that is, who is really trapping
that key).
