Hi Dave -
I have somewhat the same situation, the VSE (BSI) FTP does only plain
text and we are required to use secure FTP. So we have a PC in the
Computer room that does the secure FTPs.
I use a program called Kirby Alarm that can watch for files coming
into the PC from VSE and when one does it wakes up and and resends it
via SFTP to wherever.
In you case you could have KA watch for files that your SFTP server
receives on the PC and then FTP them into VSE as plain text. I would
then have KA do another FTP of JCL into the VSE RDR Queue to process
the data.
