Hi Tony, That would possibly require installation of software on the State system(s). Ever tried to get a State agency to install some software at *your* request? Now, me having to install software to support new stuff on their end is an entirely different matter... Dave Dave Stuart Prin. Info. What about NJE over TCP/IP as a replacement to the SNA line? The proposed solution is to 'drop' the reports on a Secure FTP Server, and send an email when the reports are there. Sounds like manual intervention, to me. So if I can automagically read/process the email, and programmatically kick off the job to go retrieve it... > > > Thanks, > Dave > > P.S. How come, the more advanced the 'web' technologies become, the more it appears manual intervention is required? Why not FTP directly to my VSE System? Why the intermediate server and email? > > > > > Dave Stuart > Prin. Info. Systems Support Analyst > County of Ventura, CA > 805-662-6731 > David.Stuart@ventura.org > > >
