Andy, My plan is to run all the backups we normally run on a nightly/weekly basis, and then execute my recovery plan on the new 'bare metal' back 'home'. The recovery process shouldn't be any different than when I do the initial recovery at a D/R site. Dave Dave Stuart Prin. Info. Question 1: Do any of you have written procedures for going home again after a Disaster? Question 2: Has anyone actually practiced this - at least the part where you pick up your stuff from the hot site? We're in the midst of updating the organization's Business Continuity Plan again. We do little updates but this is the annual major update after our latest desktop drill. We have a semi-informal "just run the dr plan in reverse" plan which I think needs formal documentation.
