I too found this interesting
We have DUMPMASTER so only real bad stuff goes to SYSDUMP , such as a full CICS abend
I then run INFOANA against the dump 
Then I use Vollie and delete the dump out of SYSDUMP
I will run a LIBR release space every now and then
