An update. I can dump the disk file to tape using FCOPY with no problems.

Subject: CEE abend
I just started getting CEE abend:
BG 0000 1T20I SYS027 HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO X'00E' (TEMP)
BG 0000 CEE3322C EXECUTION ABNORMALLY TERMINATED WITH USER-ABEND CODE 4038
AND
REASON CODE 0001.
IGZ0002S Permanent I/O error File name = SYS020 . CCB=X"0F1B92040C400114"
FROM COMPILE UNIT PSSATTA AT ENTRY POINT PSSATTA AT COMPILE UNIT
OFFSET
It worked yesterday morning. This is a third party product that is not
around anymore. I was wondering if this is a real I/O error and I have to
restore the file. The program reads the file only so I do not know how it
got corrupted. Any thoughts?
