Not sure of what you want here but at a former client (they have gone out of
business) we used the MQSeries Client to connect to a MQSeries Queue Manager
on a Solaris system (the test system's queue manager was on a Windows box).
We had CICS applications the both created and consumed information from
queues that were off platform from VSE.  The MQSeries API can be a little
daunting but we did have it working pretty well.  As an aside, there's an
adapter in the VSE VSAM Redirector code that makes reading and writing to
MQSeries queues as simple as equivalent VSAM access; haven't used it but
that's how it's advertised.

        Hmmm, all is quiet on this subject.  Note that I even want to hear
from you if VSE is just participating in such a pub/sub messaging queueing
scenario; but is not the actual manager of the message queues themselves.
