Subject: Tapes being run past EOT

All right I am baffled with this.  Very OLD 3490E drives and 3480 tape
cartages are starting to be pulled completely off the CART.  We are
using BIM-EPIC 7.1B zVSE 3.1.3.  Service, Decision 1, say they see no
problems with the drives.  Operations is saying it's a software issue, I
say it's the cartages, after all they are over 10 years old.  This has
happened 3 times so far.  Any thoughts?
