And of course PNET isn't trying to PNET 'em because you checked that too, you would have seen that in the D A command output. Sounding like a "feature" to me. About the only time we ever saw anything similar to your scenario is when POFFLOAD filled up a tape and was waiting for another, or when TCPIP's LPD daemon is picking up the stuff out of the LST queue.
