Cross posted to VSE-L & Flex-ES lists (our current platform is a 30 MIP Tserver.)

I will be retiring on 26 Feb, 2010 after more than 32 years working with DOS/VS/VSE/SP/AF/zVSE. In the meantime I will be training someone to take my place.

Many thanks to all on these two lists! You've made many of my days much brighter and more interesting than they otherwise would have been. Long may you run.

No. They checked that first. I think EPIC closed the dataset ok so at
least he thinks it's done. D A's not showing anything unusual.

I tried opening one of these with VSE Navigator and he thinks it's in
use by someone.....

Any Power tasks still associated with 'em?
Can you see anything active via D A?

Subject: DISP * after OFFLOAD

Hi all.......

We issued an offload for every listing older than 7 days - which worked
successfully. (CRDAYS)

Now we have a bunch that weren't selected but are in the same class
which are marked as DISP *. OFFLOAD is done, the subtask is gone but
the * remains. Can't change or delete these.

This is on our Dev VSE. We can't figure out how to clear this without
an IPL. Ran some tests in the sandbox and this reproduces. IPL (well,
restarting POWER) seems to be the only way to fix it.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Thanks.......
