Or you can use Martin's PUN4IPT w/ SYIPTPRM (mine) to creat a SYSIPT
stream that has the VSE SETPARMs resolved.

Oups- from Dave's post I learned that it makes sense to read a posting 
to the very end.

Instead of using PROCs the way they are ment to be used (exposing the 
variables to higher levels by passing them from the invocation)

you may want to consider SLI for this

or SETPARM PWRJOB,xxx (which also avoids the rules for "locals")
