Subject: 8228 token ring connector

Hello Everyone, NO ONE LAUGH (to much anyway)! We have a Token-Ring 8228 Hub. Since this is the only 8228 do we need anything in the RO and RI ports, like terminators or can the stay open? Secondly the 3174 connects to the 8228, that connector can be in any port correct (other than the RO and RI ports)? And yes the Token Ring is down. Seems some network person needed the rack area, and requested that the 8228 be removed from the rack. Has not work since. About 2 hours ago. I just got notified.
