This is the first time this has happened, but I have seen threads on the
listserv before about it. ICCF is in a CICS by itself. Our production
CICSs do have a dedicated terminal with a CEMT I TAS up. As always, thanks
for the suggestions.

Don,
<<I was hoping that I could identify the subtask that was hung and satisfy
that and all would
be well, but no such luck!>>
If this happens a lot and you don't have a CICS monitor, then I suggest you
dedicate one terminal and crank up CEMT I TAS, and let it sit until a
lockup occurs. You MAY be able to force abend one, some or all
transactions. To mitigate ICCF issues and to shield your ICCF users I would
also put ICCF into a CICS all by itself.
