LE 1.4.3 is not supported on previous levels of VSE/ESA. All LE components are compiled/built using the specific VSE/ESA macro libraries as well as any support included for updated VSE/AF features/enhancements etc. So depending upon what functions your 3rd party software uses you could just end up with abends elsewhere - possibly even in other products that use LE also.
