As the new trustee of W6OI, the Ten-Ten International Net, club station, I encourage current 10-10 members to request use of the station for a special event. Examples would be a Field Day station, Chapter events or at a Radio convention where 10-10 has a presence. If you are interested send a written application, including dates of operation, purpose and any other information to me. Enclose a photocopy of your license. W6OI will be on the air at the Hill Country Picnic on June 3 and at the 10-10 Convention in Worcester, MA from July 11 to July 15. Ruth (N0KDB) will operate W6OI during the Convention net on July 14. Louise (N6ELK) operates W6OI as the 10-10 Net Control Operator each Wednesday beginning at 1800Z on 28.800 MHz.W6OI was given out in the 10-10 CW contest last weekend and made 22 contacts. New colorful QSL cards have been created for W6OI by Chuck (W6YLJ). Special cards have been made up for the Hill Country Picnic and the Worcester Convention. W6OI has a short chapter list where Certificate Managers have issued countesy numbers for the station. W6OI does not upgrade these chapters however Certificate Managers that chose to do so can upgrade chapter points or seals by letting me know. Chapters that want W6OI to have a courtesy number please let me know. Request for the W6OI list should be made to me. 73 Jack K5CC
