Somebody at work just informed me the other day that Bob Keeshan, A.K.A. Captain Kangaroo passed away. I spent a lot of time as a toddler in the late 50's watching that on CBS in the mornings. From what I understand, Mr. Keeshan went on to be a "lobbyist", if you will, advocating quality children's programming and reading programs in school. I know it's off topic; but the mention of Capatin Kangaroo brought back a flood of memories. 73 de Larry W2LJ - Vivat Morse!
