Subject: Rechecking my work

Y'all,
Well, I've gotten far enough along to know that the transmitter line-up
for this re-do of the 40-9er & some others stuff needs a regrouping.
However, I am also at the point where I can say that all this fits on a
board just under 3.25x1.5 inches. No AF filter, just the LC thingie that
is in the 40-9er. Direct conversion receiver (works pretty well, actually
.. . . makes me think I might try my own version of the Sudden but with a
few other twisted circuits just for kicks.)
And almost enough room elsewhere in this project to put a tiny TL082 AF
filter that might be a nominal "drop-in" for where the LC thingie in the
40-9er, 'cept that it raises the holes count considerably & jacks me into
the next price bracket, which I ain't ready for just quite yit.
But first I have to clear all the transmit stuff off the board I do have
(ok, three boards I do have, although only one of 'em is filled with
parts) so I can try something a little different.
And then I have to go back and recheck my work a couple mores times.

.. . . Dan's SP&K's little "universal CW filter" is the basis for the
TL082 AF filter that I've thought about boarding up . . . or for $10 &
some shipping I could get another one myself & save the space & money for
other stupid ideas . . .
