Cecil, I have had an MP+ for about a year and find it well worth the time money and effort. I ran it side - by - side with an FT-1000 MP and found the two receivers comparable (setting aside some of the bells and whistles in the FT 1000). I particularly like the variable filter in the MP+. If you have the Fall 2003 issue of the QRP Quarterly, there is a review if the MP+ (by me).
