Well, Bill, if you had gone to the first webpage that was given, ie Tuning Elevated Radials for 1/4 Wavelength Verticals which is at http://force12inc.com/F12-SE-Yagi-tuning-Elev-Radials-1-2.htm and scroll down about half way down the page, you would be able to read and see the drawing/pixs on how they accomplished the radials and tuning. We are talking apples to apples..........smile! 73...Walter - AG5P ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Rowlett" <kc4atu@hotmail.com> To: <walter@accessus.net>; <qrp-l@Lehigh.EDU> Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2004 2:15 PM Subject: Re: Hustler 6BVT Vertical and Radials > Force 12 vert. are center feed 1/2wave verticals, different from the 1/4 > wave vert. by the other manufactures. 1/2 wave does not need radials, 1/4 > wave does. > > Lets keep it apples to apples. > > 73, Bill kc4atu > > > >From: "Walter AG5P" <walter@accessus.net> > >Reply-To: "Walter AG5P" <walter@accessus.net> > >To: "Low Power Amateur Radio Discussion" <qrp-l@Lehigh.EDU> > >Subject: Re: Hustler 6BVT Vertical and Radials > >Date: Wed, 25 Feb 2004 12:47:32 -0600 > > > >John, you might do some reading at the Force 12 > >antenna site. > > > >Look about half way down the page, at: > >http://force12inc.com/F12-SE-Yagi-tuning-Elev-Radials-1-2.htm > > > >Then you may want to read about Team Vertical, at: > >http://force12inc.com/F12-amateur-home-002.htm > > > >I do not own any of their antennas, I'm a homebrewer, > >but they have a nice info filled website. > > > >73...Walter - AG5P > > > > _________________________________________________________________ > Get fast, reliable access with MSN 9 Dial-up.
