Leaving aside the fact that this is not a straight answer to whether or not
you've actually read Welburn's book, could you be more specific please?

What is it, granting  the presuppositions of historicity of both "figures" ,
that makes Welburn's reconstruction of the beginnings of Christianity something
that those who are interested in this subject should read? What new facts or
considerations does he bring to light?
