Hi, I don't think we want to convince the older generation. We want support of strong people. I don't feel like starting to run around trying to organize a lecture for Vermes about the historical Jesus; if you say that it is necessary, I'll do it, but it seems like a waste of time to me. Vermes himself did not sound very enthusiastic about a cognitive approach. It is a waste of time trying to convince him, if we can find someone who is sympathetic in general, and would be ready to support our cause. I'll try Ada tomorrow. Let me know what you think.
