Hi all!



In the slipstream of the recently published discovery of a 2nd CT synagogue at Magdala (http://www.antiquities.org.il/article_Item_eng.asp?sec_id=25&subj_id=240&id=1601&module_id=#as) what is the verdict then? How many Second Temple Period synagogues do we have?



Two questions:

1: How many synagogues do the excavators themselves date to prior 70 CE? 7?

- Masada, Herodion, Jericho, Modein, Gamla, Kiryat Sefer and Magdala, ?



2: What is your opinion, more or less?
