Just a personal opinion here, no facts... I think it's a warning because of neuropathy. A diabetic with neuropathy might not feel the heat, might not realize how hot it was and possibly get scalded?? I'd say go for it if that's not a problem with you. Now, I can stay away from the hot tub, but I really enjoy the steam after exercising. What risk am I taking by taking the steam for 15 minutes or less?
