Just a personal opinion here, no facts... I think it's a warning because of
neuropathy. A diabetic with neuropathy might not feel the heat, might not
realize how hot it was and possibly get scalded?? I'd say go for it if
that's not a problem with you.

I have asked about this before (a while back) but I don't remember the
answer.

Why is it that someone with diabetes is told to NOT use a hot tub or steam
room?

I ask because I recently started an exercise program, and the wellness
center includes a pool, steam room, and hot tub.  Now, I can stay away from
the hot tub, but I really enjoy the steam after exercising.  What risk am I
taking by taking the steam for 15 minutes or less?
